To support our team in Martinsried near Munich, we are looking for suitable candidates for this full-time and permanent position, to begin work as soon as possible.
 
The Master Data Specialist (gn) will be responsible for overseeing the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data within the organization. This role ensures the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data, supporting various functions including research, development, and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data management, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry, and have a keen eye for detail and process improvement.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and management of master data governance processes.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across all systems and databases (including BOM creation and maintenance).
  • Develop and maintain an artwork-file data base (in close alignment with regulatory affairs)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and maintain data standards and policies.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on data management best practices and policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in data management.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management, preferably certified and within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • In-depth understanding of master data management (MDM) principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency with data management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements and compliance related to pharmaceutical data management (e.g., FDA, EMA).
  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with data analytics, business intelligence tools and knowledge of data privacy regulations desirable
