For this full-time and permanent position we are looking for a dedicated technical assistant with strong background in biochemistry, specifically kinetic measurements, to support our team as soon as possible in the field of Functional Characterization in Martinsried near Munich. The main focus of the team is to develop, maintain and perform protein interaction assays, determining the kinetic properties using state of the art SPR technology.

Your responsibilities

  • Support the development and qualification of SPR methods for the characterization of therapeutic proteins
  • Perform routine measurements of process and stability samples using SPR or related binding assays
  • Qualification and maintenance of equipment as well as troubleshooting of technical problems
  • Independent evaluation and compliant documentation of experiments according to internal guidelines
  • Maintain and improve the quality standard of the laboratory

Your qualifications

  • Successfully completed education as Technical Assistant (BTA / CTA / MTA) or comparable qualification in Life Sciences (e.g. bachelor with relevant experience)
  • Hands-on experience with binding assays (SPR, BLI or comparable technologies) is a prerequisite
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is considered advantageous
  • Very good team player, result oriented, well organized, proactive, problem solver and able to work independently
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic fast growing biopharmaceutical company
  • Fluent in written and spoken English required, German knowledge is desirable
  • Proficient in MS-Office
  • German work permit is mandatory
